Project Partners

Over three years, leaders at partner stations will host a series of “train the trainer” workshops for public school teachers and preservice educators in participating public television communities.

First up is Georgia Public Broadcasting in the Summer of 2023!

  • June 26-28 at Columbus State University in Columbus, GA
  • July 17-19 at Georgia Public Broadcasting in Atlanta, GA
American Public Television and GPB Education are offering two paid workshops for Georgia based secondary and pre-service teachers. Each workshop uses episodes from the Emmy Award-winning documentary series The Future of America’s Past to model how teachers can develop learning resources to increase student media literacy and critical thinking skills through digital humanities projects that feature primary source archival materials.
