Formed in 1990, APT's Premium Service is a co-production, co-financing
and acquisition fund that provides fundraising specials for member
stations. With the financial backing of the major television markets,
Premium Service has secured some of public television's most prestigious
and highest-rated programs.
Premium Service places special emphasis on original programming,
concentrating on high-end performance and music specials, and occasionally
offering exceptional self-help and documentary programs. Through
the creation of original concepts and the acquisition of existing
high-quality programs, Premium Service has brought more than 130
specials and series to public television. Recent titles include:
