Transportation to/from Southwest Florida International Airport:
Take advantage of a significant savings on your ground transportation when you register for this year’s APT Fall Marketplace. APT has negotiated with a local transportation company for a flat rate that just about halves the cost of a taxi. Instead of the one-way, standard cab fare of $45 (before tip) from Southwest International Airport to the Sanibel Harbour Resort, pay just $25 each way when you complete your meeting registration. All costs will be covered, including tip! For just about half the price, you will have a car awaiting your arrival in Ft. Myers as well as a timely pickup for your departure at the end of the week.
To sign up for the shuttle service be sure to have your *airline reservations available, then proceed to Marketplace registration and follow the instructions. Once you have completed your meeting registration and transportation request, you will be prompted to print your form, fax it to the transportation company (FAX: 239-466-7555), and file it with your airplane tickets as this form will be required upon pickup. (In case of changes or emergency, important numbers are on the form, as well.)
This service will be able to meet your travel needs any time between the dates of Monday, Nov. 9, 2009 and Saturday Nov. 14, 2009. Pick up times for flights leaving Ft. Myers will be scheduled for a minimum of two hours before the actual flight departure. A pickup schedule will be posted at the Sanibel Harbour Resort.
