Episode #601 – “Plan of Attack”
April 1944. DS Milner's investigation of a transportation fraud sets in motion a series of events that brings Foyle back to the force. As Hastings hosts an ecumenical conference on the morality of continued Allied bombing, Foyle probes the suspicious death of a young cartographer from the Air Ministry office.

October 1944: At a psychiatric clinic treating troubled soldiers, the investigation of a doctor's murder turns up no shortage of suspects among the patients and staff. It also complicates Foyle's friendship with Dr. Josef Novak, the Polish refugee who heads the clinic.

May 1945: As all of Britain awaits the formal announcement of the war's end, Foyle reluctantly joins a committee preparing to keep public order during the celebration to come.
Episode #701 – “The Russian House”
June 1945: Tracking an escaped Russian POW at the behest of British intelligence, Foyle becomes involved in a murder investigation conducted by his former subordinate, DI Paul Milner. The situation threatens not only their already strained relationship, but also Foyle's life.

July 1945: While African American GIs wait for transport home, racial tensions run high at the army base in Hastings-particularly when a black American serviceman becomes romantically involved with a white local woman. Then a series of nighttime holdups adds to the town's concerns and leaves Foyle puzzled.

August 1945: Foyle probes the mysterious motives of James Devereaux, a former POW and member of the British Free Corps, who refuses to defend himself against treason charges. Meanwhile, Milner investigates the murder of a young woman rooming with the Devereaux family's housekeeper.
Episode #801 – “The Eternity Ring”
Fresh from a stay in America, Foyle encounters MI5 agents Hilda Pierce and Arthur Valentine, who draw him into the hunt for a suspected Russian spy ring. As part of his investigation, Foyle reconnects with Sam, now working for a nuclear scientist and married to political candidate Adam Wainwright.

Looking into the deaths of several high-ranking Russian defectors, Foyle finds ties to the apparent suicide of an unidentified Russian man and the disappearance of a young woman. His search leads him to a government listening station that may not be what it appears.

When an MI5 intelligence asset fears for his life, Foyle must protect the ex-Nazi from assassination attempts-and American authorities. Meanwhile, new MP Adam tries to help a farmer reclaim his land and uncovers information that could threaten his career.
Episode #901 – “High Castle”
A university professor who had been working as a translator at the Nuremberg trials is stabbed to death. As Foyle investigates, he delves into the world of international oil politics and corrupt Nazi businessmen. Sam assists the murder inquiry by going undercover, despite her pregnancy.
Episode #902 – “Trespass”
As Britain debates the creation of a Jewish state in Palestine, the son of a wealthy Jewish businessman is assaulted. The flames of anti-Semitism have recently been fanned in London by Charles Lucas, a right-wing writer, and Foyle suspects the attack was racially motivated.
Episode #903 – “Elise”
After an attempt on Hilda Pierce's life, Foyle scrutinizes her work for the Special Operations Executive during the war. Could this be related to the deaths of nine SOE agents in France and rumors of a traitor called Plato?
