Description
HEALTH SENSE helps viewers make sense of the ever-changing healthcare landscape. The 13-part series strives to provide the most accurate and current information to healthcare consumers. Experts offer insight into diagnosing, treating, preventing and surviving conditions. They also weigh-in on headline-makers such as gastric bypass surgery and herbal supplements, tackle the tough issues and help lift some of the mystery surrounding often misunderstood issues, including stress and mental health. Each episode includes stories of those coping with obesity, back pain and hearing and vision loss. Survivors of potentially devastating diseases such as hepatitis and ALS also share their inspiring stories of beating the odds.
