BALLYKISSANGEL II is the continuation of the popular, contemporary drama about an English priest who must take on the bedrock of Irish Catholicism. The series began with Father Peter Clifford's arrival in the rural town of Ballykissangel, which was a shock to him and to its residents. He had to come to terms with the idiosyncratic ways of the villagers, and they with his down-to-earth '90s style.

This offer of a dozen programs represents the U.K.'s third season, which begins with a Christmas episode ("As Happy As a Turkey on Boxing Day") and culminates with a surprising two-part sereis finale (episodes #211 and #212) which brings about the departure of Father Peter and Assumpta.
