The world-famous Hollywood Bowl, known for its magnificent natural setting, has been home to some of the world’s greatest music since 1922. Each year, from the end of June to the middle of September, nearly one million people fill the 20,000 seat amphitheater to experience performances of symphonic, pop, rock, country and other world music. Narrated by actor and composer John Rubenstein, HOLLYWOOD BOWL: MUSIC UNDER THE STARS celebrates the 80th anniversary of this legendary venue. Two hundred vintage black and white photographs are interwoven with recent performances and fireworks in this spectacular documentary.
