Description
RE-IMAGINING IRELAND is a window into the minds and hearts of the Irish as they confront the effects of a rapidly changing economy and culture in a global context. Calling into question stereotypical views of Ireland and the Irish, the program is also an exploration of the human struggle to come to terms with cultural differences and to nurture acceptance and tolerance. RE-IMAGINING IRELAND, narrated by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Frank McCourt, focuses on Irish and universal themes through the diverse and winning voices of a select group of compelling Irish observers, ranging across the arts and politics. |
