Description

Celebrate the life of legendary tenor Luciano Pavarotti in the once-in-a-lifetime concert special PAVAROTTI IN CENTRAL PARK, recorded live in New York City’s Central Park on June 26, 1993. Before an audience of 500,000 adoring fans, and backed by the New York Philharmonic Orchestra, Pavarotti dazzles the crowd with a virtuoso performance of some of the greatest opera arias of all time. Included in this special are “Quando le sere al placido” from Verdi’s Luisa Miller; “Fra poco a me ricovero” from Donizetti’s Lucia di Lammermoor; “Il lamento di Federico” from Cilea’s L’arlesiana; and “Occi de fata” by Donza.
