Description
AFRICA'S CHILDREN captures the dramatic stories of four girls growing up in Kenya today. Set against the magnificent backdrop of East Africa’s mountainous peaks and vast deserts, the program chronicles the harsh realities and dangerous hardships these girls must face as they pursue their dreams of achieving a better way of life. As support networks are now starting to emerge to help young women in Kenya, AFRICA'S CHILDREN explores the dilemma of whether these women can develop a new role for themselves without destroying the traditional society that nurtured them.
