Description
AMERICA'S HEARTLAND celebrates United States agriculture, horticulture and aquaculture by spotlighting the diverse group of men and women providing food, fuel and fiber to the world. Shot entirely on location, each episode contains four-to-six compelling field pieces about the land and the unforgettable people who grow the country's crops, raise its livestock and tend its nurseries. In season four, new on-camera contributors join series host Paul Ryan and reporter Jason Shoultz. The first three seasons of AMERICA'S HEARTLAND delivered stories from all 50 states — from remote corners of the least-populated states to the rooftop gardens of bustling metropolises. This season's new features include commentary from passionate food producers (representing farms big and small, mainstream and specialized) and segments devoted to farm pets and animals, curious roadside attractions and some of the country's most scenic farms and ranches.
