HOLLYWOOD'S MAGICAL ISLAND: CATALINA documents architectural achievements that transformed the island and highlights many of the individuals who figured into its lore including stars of the Big Band Era, players from the Chicago Cubs, and Hollywood personalities like Marilyn Monroe and Bob Hope.
