Description
The Latino community represents the United States' largest growing demographic. THE LATIN VIEW is designed to appeal to civic-minded Latinos, serving as an intellectual and inclusive resource for viewers. Nationally known and regarded individuals are incorporated into video roll-ins and serve as guest panelists to review and debate a wide range of topics including: bilingual education, immigration policy, business opportunities, profiling and other interests and concerns of the Latino community. This season, episodes address voting issues in an election year; President Bush's immigration policy and the economic ramifications of immigration issues; business ownership, mortgage lending and franchising; and Latinas in society and in business. The series also features interviews with Latino filmmakers, veterans of the Armed Services, as well as with Jesus Chavarria, founder of Hispanic Business Magazine.
