Description
NO MISSING LINK WITH DR. RUTH WESTHEIMER shows how important grandparents can be in maintaining family traditions. The documentary, narrated by Dr. Westheimer and shot in Moscow, Leningrad, Uzbekistan and New York, focuses particularly on the grandmothers who contributed to the passing on of religious rites and values in the Soviet Union, despite the pressures against religion under Communism. Co-produced by award-winning, Russian-born Israeli filmmaker Sasha Klein, the program includes rarely seen archival film and stills.
