APT’s JACK BENNY: COMEDY IN BLOOM complemented PBS’s Billy Crystal:
The Kennedy Center Mark Twain Prize in November. On Nov. 22, KTCA/Minneapolis aired the APT comedy just prior to Billy Crystal and helped the station garner the
second-highest GRPs and the second-highest individual rating of the night, a 3.9. On Nov. 12, KERA/Dallas also used JACK BENNY to split the PBS feed,
scheduling the program in between Antiques Roadshow and Billy Crystal, for a successful 2.4 rating. Throughout the month, JACK BENNY averaged a 1.5 from 15 primetime plays.
