Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House

APT Classic Movies Continue to Post High Ratings With Regularity Unseen in Previous Years

NORTH BY NORTHWEST, a classic Alfred Hitchcock movie, earned several notable ratings accomplishments in February. Throughout the month, it averaged a 2.3 across 19 primetime airings. The program was especially strong on Saturday, Feb. 4 leading PubTV to note: NORTH BY NORTHWEST scored a 3.1 on nine stations, vaulting over the usual leader Antiques Roadshow by almost a whole point, leaving Lawrence Welk in third place.* Additionally, among public TV’s top 20 primetime programs, it ranked second with a 2.56/4 the week of Jan. 30-Feb. 5 and fourth with a 2.12/3 the week of Feb. 6-12.

APT's presentations of THE PINK PANTHER and MR. BLANDINGS BUILDS HIS DREAM HOUSE continued the movie streak. Throughout the month, MR. BLANDINGS averaged a 2.4 over five primetime plays and THE PINK PANTHER averaged a 1.9 over 15 primetime plays.
