Lincoln: Prelude to the Presidency

Commemorate historical events with APT documentaries

To celebrate the bicentennial of Lincoln’s birth, several stations aired PBS’s Looking for Lincoln alongside the APT Exchange special LINCOLN: PRELUDE TO THE PRESIDENCY with fantastic results. KNME, WNPT and WQED all aired PRELUDE TO THE PRESIDENCY prior to the PBS program on 2/11 and not only provided a solid lead-in audience, but also eclipsed the hardfed show on all occasions. KNME’s airing of PRELUDE earned a 3.0/4 compared to Looking for Lincoln’s 2.5/4, WNPT’s airing brought in a 2.9/4 compared to Lincoln’s 2.3/3, and WQED’s airing delivered a 2.4/4 compared to Lincoln’s 2.3/3.
