Doctor Who

Fill the primetime feed with quality Exchange or Syndication programming

Programming from APT Exchange and Syndication can not only maintain an audience during scheduling gaps, but also enhance total station GRPs. Take a look at DOCTOR WHO IX, for instance. In April, the syndication program aired 36 times in primetime, earning a 1.2 average. KOPB/Portland scheduled the program at 10:00 p.m. on Thursday nights helping fill the tough third hour spot. On April 5, DOCTOR WHO brought KOPB’s ratings back up to a 1.9 after it dropped to a 1.3 during In Performance at the White House, helping securing KOPB’s No. 4 spot among top GRP earners. On April 12, the program performed again in the 10:00 p.m. spot, maintaining the 3.7 rating that both lead-in programs, Oregon Field Guide and Man Made Marvels of Asia, reeled in.
