Vice President, Exchange Programming and Multicast Services
Chris Funkhouser joined American Public Television (APT) in 1998 with more than two decades of experience in the public television industry.
As vice president of APT’s Exchange
programming service, Funkhouser seeks programs for distribution and markets them to the public television system nationwide. During his tenure at APT, Funkhouser has helped to deliver multiple Emmy®, GRAMMY and James Beard award-winning programs to the public television system.
Funkhouser is also vice president of APT’s multicast services, Create® TV
, and is responsible for helping package, program, market and deliver them to the public television system.
Prior to joining APT, Funkhouser served as director of programming at WLIW in New York and program manager for New Hampshire Public Television. He started his career in programming at Vermont Public Television.
